Therefore in the 2008-2009 season Body Checking has been removed from all Atom Hockey in Canada.

Highway 10 Hockey School continues to teach the proper progressions in the Checking Pyramid. Jason Gordon and Rob Kozak are certified SHA course conductors in the area of Body Checking. The progressions to Body Checking require some of the essential skills in hockey. Skating, Angling/Positioning and Body Contact all occur in hockey right from the IP level. Body Checking becomes legal now in Pee Wee hockey and is the final progression on the Pyramid of Skills. Highway 10 Hockey School will continue to ensure the school's curriculum reflects the important skills to become smart, safe, skilled hockey players.

If you would like more information on our hockey school please email at:
highway10hockey@yahoo.ca
or check us out on the net at:
http://highway10hockey.com

Calling All Bantam and Midgets

We are still looking to fill our Bantam and Midget Program for the 2008 summer session. Many questions parents have about choosing a hockey school can be reflected in the product offered from Highway 10 Hockey School. The 4 main factors to consider when choosing a school are Instructors, Hours on Ice, Cost and Safety.

Instructors

Highway 10 Hockey School offers the Best Instructor to Student Ratio in the Hockey School Business.
